Gentle giants: our pupils meet Bahrain's horses
Some children marched straight up; others needed a moment (and a teacher's hand) — but by the end of our equestrian centre visit, every pupil had made a new four-legged friend.
Along the way the children learned how horses are fed, groomed and exercised, and practised the calm, gentle behaviour that animals — and classmates — appreciate.
Thank you to the stable team for their patience and to our accompanying parents. The bus ride home was noticeably quieter than the ride there — happy, tired children all round.
