Who we are

Al Fajer Private School (“AFS”, “we”, “us”) is a private school located on Budaiya Highway, Barbar, Kingdom of Bahrain. You can reach us at contact@afs.edu.bh, by phone on +973 1755 0011, or by WhatsApp on +973 3364 1011.

What information we collect

When you submit the enquiry, visit-booking, careers or feedback form on this site, your message is delivered to the school's enquiry-management system, where our administration team reads and replies to it. After submitting, you can also choose to send yourself a copy through your own WhatsApp or email app. The details you include may cover:

  • Your name and contact details (email and phone)
  • Your child's age or grade of interest (for admissions enquiries)
  • Any message, preferred visit date, application details, or feedback you share — including, if you raise a concern, details about your child's wellbeing

Form submissions are stored in the school's secure management system (hosted for us on Google Cloud) and are handled by our admissions and administration teams, alongside messages that arrive by phone, WhatsApp or email.

How we use it

We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry, arrange your visit, process job applications, and communicate with you about your interest in AFS. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties except where required by law.

How long we keep it

We keep your information only as long as needed for the purpose you provided it, in line with our records policies and any applicable legal requirements, including Bahrain's Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL).

Photographs of pupils

The photographs of children on this website are taken at school events and activities and are published with the school's authorisation. If you are a parent or guardian and would like a photograph of your child reviewed or removed, contact us at contact@afs.edu.bh and we will act promptly.

Cookies & local storage

This website does not set tracking cookies. It uses your browser's local storage for a small number of preferences:

  • Consent choice — to remember whether you accepted or declined optional analytics.
  • Announcement bar — to remember that you dismissed a site announcement.

If you accept, we use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics (Vercel Web Analytics & Speed Insights) to understand how families use our site so we can improve it — no advertising cookies, nothing sold, and nothing shared with third parties for their own use.
